Une brève incursion dans l’histoire nous fera peut-être oublier ces cris de haine auxquels ce forum ne nous a pas habitués. Même le passage des véhicules de ramassage de ces ordures « des gens des Comores » sur la route qui traverse les villages fait l’objet des protestations véhémentes.

Est-ce un crime de dire que les critères de gestion l’espace public à Moroni ne peuvent plus être ceux des contemporains de Hatwibu Burahim, il y a six siècles ? Les maires successifs de ont fait la sourde oreille face aux propos désobligeants de certains élus du peuple qui ne se considèrent que comme représentants et protecteurs des marchands des rues et des chefs des communautés des villages voisins qui n’admettent pas que le poids démographique de la ville et ses fonctions économiques et politiques créent des obligations et des droits différents de ceux des autres collectivités. Lorsque le statut de la capitale fut déposé par le gouvernement sur le bureau de l’assemblée de l’Union, un membre éminent du parti du président qui a introduit dans la constitution la clause du statut particulier de la capitale s’est opposé à son inscription à l’ordre du jour durant toute la législature précédente.
